San Leandro
With neighborhoods like Bay-O-Vista & Estudillo Estates, it’s hard to go wrong in San Leandro. I bought my first home in San Leandro, where my wife and I lived for 3 years. I have picturesque memories of the two of us walking our new puppy around the neighborhood, stopping in at Zocalo’s Coffeehouse (dog-friendly!) and grabbing the best/freshest sandwiches at Estudillo Produce & Deli.
Beer lovers rejoice: there’s also an amazing brewery scene with Drake’s and 21 st Amendment, with Fieldworks moving into Downtown soon! The San Leandro Marina has great walking trails along the bay, parks for the kids and the Monarch Bay golf course. There is a rich history in San Leandro that residents and business owners take a lot of pride in; anyone who lives here can see it and feel it.
