Castro Valley
I love Castro Valley. Might be a little biased since I was born and raised here! Surprising how many people don’t know about this charming town! It has a small town feel thanks to some of our mom and pop establishments that have been around forever. (I practically grew up playing mini golf at Golfland followed by a #1 value meal at McDonald’s every Friday night.)
Castro Valley continues to revitalize itself as well. My favorite lunch spot these days is the new Cannery Kitchen and Tap in the Marketplace. Lake Chabot is a family friendly, outdoor gem that’s 10 minutes or less from anyone’s front door and great for hiking, biking, family get-togethers and even fishing. You really can’t go wrong if you decide to call CV your home.
